Last Show of 2011 – Brighton Music Hall with Mean Creek, Age Rings, and Young Adults

It’s been a big year for us – kind of a roller coaster but luckily more ups than downs. Fresh off our tour dates with AM & Shawn Lee, we’re extra excited to close out the year with a BANG of a show. This amazing night that you absolutely should not miss will be our last show of the year at the wonderful Brighton Music Hall.

MEAN CREEK
One of our favorite bands to see live – and now you can hear “Sunlight” in regular rotation on WFNX. Or you can beat the system and listen to it right now on their bandcamp page. Mean Creek is working on a new album, so come out and help them fund it. As Mean Creek has said, “Fuck Kickstarter, instead, we’ll play our asses off for you.”

AGE RINGS
Their music has been compared to Wilco and Spoon, and relies heavily on melody and classic songwriting, while concurrently pushing boundaries and the limits of themselves and the studio. The Boston Phoenix says “Age Rings’ melodies and hooks convince in a big way.” Listen to samples or buy Black Honey here.

YOUNG ADULTS
Young Adults have been kicking ass and taking names from their inception. Sonic Masala called them “a fine brand of angst ridden rock with enough punk, shoegaze and early 90s DC sound aesthetics to punch their way through to the speakers and sear themselves onto your eardrums.” You can hear their latest on their myspace.
