All about Static of the Gods: Post Details
I walked out to the van this morning to find this:

It reminds me of a note that someone left on my van a few years – in that case, someone was complaining that the van was too big, took up too much space, and shouldn’t be allowed on the street. My reaction on both occasions was the same: How can I possibly take up even more space?
Except when your crankshaft explodes in Petaluma, CA, driving a 15 passenger van is a great thing when it comes to touring and carrying all your gear around. It does, however, make driving and parking back at home a bit more difficult. For some reason, a note like this makes driving the van around town worth it.
I’m not sure quite what it says about me, but all I want to do now is figure out a way to take up 3 parking spaces right in front of this fine poets house. The van is big enough where I may just be able to do that. Now I have something to shoot for.
Let the games begin!

The best part is that it really looks like he signed it douchebag, instead of calling you a douchebag

“Love,
Douchebag”
You need to Midnight-Oil the Douchebag’s house–pull up at 5 a.m. with a flat-bed trailer and crank up that generator-powered Fender Twin. I’m thinking some Benatar: “Love Is a Battlefield”?
(Midnight Oil? You follow me, or is that reference too old?)

Couldn’t agree more. I’ll pitch in to rent a u-Haul trailer.

yes, that really is the best part! and while walking around the neighborhood with Loki, (i was JUST taking a walk, NOT doing reconnaissance, as some have suggested), i discovered the exact location of douchebag’s house.
douchebag left a “knock, doorbell broken” sign on his door using the same pen and paper…duh.
