All about Static of the Gods: Post Details

recording is an interesting animal. it sucks me in and sometimes i neglect to remember that there’s a whole outside world which i’ve removed myself from, to go away and create. create something that others, in this outside world, will appreciate, understand and ultimately enjoy. so for that, i’m sorry. phone calls/emails/text messages/snail mail will all happen shortly…
i had a brief yet entertaining conversation with a friend this morning, phil from Eisenhower Field Day. (go listen to them, they’re a great band from Indianapolis) we’ve had the pleasure of playing many shows with them over the last couple years while on tour. almost every interaction with phil i’m left uncontrollably laughing like a child. i love it. holly and noah too, the other 2/3 of EFD, they’re great/funny people too. i’m on a tangent… anyways, talking with phil about recording techniques and whatever else makes me antsy to be back on tour…
okay, so drums on Fire Eater sound great. I think True North is up next. mike’s got about seven more songs worth of drums left…
